Our Craft

Restoration & Upholstery

Meticulous attention to every fiber, spring, and frame. We bring aged seating back to life with durable materials and precise structural repair.

Traditional Upholstery

We use time-honored techniques for antique and heritage pieces. This involves hand-tied coil springs, natural horsehair fillings, and stitched edges to ensure long-lasting comfort and structural integrity.

  • Hand-stitched webbing
  • Natural fiber stuffing
  • Period-accurate detailing

Modern Fabric Fitting

For mid-century and contemporary furniture, we focus on sharp lines and precise pattern matching. We upgrade degraded foams with high-density modern alternatives that offer superior support.

  • High-density foam replacement
  • Flawless pattern alignment
  • Tailored piping and zippers

Timber & Frame Repair

Great upholstery demands a solid foundation. Before any fabric is fitted, we inspect the timber frame, gluing loose joints, replacing broken rails, and carefully polishing exposed woodwork.

  • Joint stabilization
  • Surface cleaning and oiling
  • Leg and arm rest restoration

Selecting the Right Fabric

The covering you choose dictates not just the look, but the lifespan of your piece. We carry a curated selection of durable wools, sturdy linens, and heavy-duty synthetics sourced from trusted mills. During your consultation, we will guide you toward textiles that match both your aesthetic vision and your practical household needs.

How We Work

1

Assessment

We inspect your furniture to understand its structural health. We will discuss your goals and provide an honest overview of the required work.

2

Fabric Selection

You can browse our studio samples or bring your own material. We will calculate the exact yardage needed based on pattern repeats and styling.

3

Restoration

The piece enters our workshop. We strip the old covers, repair the frame, rebuild the padding, and carefully fit the new upholstery.
