Terms and Conditions

Guidelines and policies for upholstery and furniture restoration services at Frame & Fabric.

1. General Provisions

These terms govern the agreement between Frame & Fabric and our clients regarding all upholstery, framework repair, and furniture restoration services. By accepting a project estimate or placing an order with us, you agree to the conditions outlined below.

We pride ourselves on traditional craftsmanship and high-quality materials. Our goal is to restore your pieces carefully and securely, ensuring they last for years to come.

2. Estimates and Quotes

Initial estimates provided via email or based on photographs are approximate. A final, binding quote can only be confirmed once the furniture has been physically inspected at our workshop.

In older furniture, underlying structural frame damage or degraded foam is often hidden beneath the original fabric. If we discover unexpected deterioration upon stripping the piece, we will pause work and notify you immediately with an updated cost assessment before proceeding.

3. Fabric and Materials

Clients are welcome to select fabrics from our curated workshop collection or supply their own materials. If you choose to supply your own fabric, we cannot be held responsible for its durability, flawlessness, or suitability for upholstery.

Projects requiring pattern matching or specific motif placement will require more yardage. We will advise you on the exact quantities needed prior to material ordering.

4. Payment and Completion

To secure a position in our workshop schedule and order the necessary materials, a non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance will be due upon completion of the restoration work.

Completed pieces must be collected or delivered within fourteen days of the notification of completion. Due to limited workshop space, items left beyond this period may incur a secure storage fee.
